Summer Refreshing Poppy Seed Desert & Fresh Fruit

Ingredients of the poppy seed refresher

2-3 table spoons of grounded poppy seeds

200 g soy yoghurt
50 ml coconut milk
1-2 table spoons of agave syrup

powdered cinnamon

lemon zest
fresh fruit like berries

Preparation

Take a big bowl that fits into your fridge. Put all the ingredients into the bowl and mix carefully. Season to taste with fresh lemon juice and sugar. Put it into the fridge and let the cream cool down for an hour or longer.
Serve the cool cream with fresh fruit like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries or cherries.

It may not look like it, but poppy seeds can be considered as nutrients with a high density of valuable and healthy ingredients. They have a very good fatty acid profile and contain the essential amino acids leucine and lysine. Poppy seeds are also a good source for minerals like iron, magnesium, phoshporous or calcium.

Berries are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and help to improve your immune system. They also contain a lot of dietary fibre, which is good for your digestive system.
