It is not a secret that our lifestyle with its non stop demands, expectations, deadlines is not sustainable on the long run. We find ourselves juggling between work, family, friends, and ourselves, trying to deliver, perform more but eventually its not working.

We get stressed, at times to the point of a burnout, struggling with chronic pain, health issue and relationships unable to find ways to disconnect and turn the off switch. According to recent scientific studies , meditation, breath centric yoga, and breathing techniques, can ease that stress, help boost your energy, improve your sleep and overall improve your health

This session is about practicing pause, turning the switch off to better cope with stress and external pressures.

No experience required. The workshop is for anyone looking to ease from stress and to find a more balanced lifestyle.

About the facilitators:

Leila El Krekshi

Founder of Orenda, Leila has been running wellbeing events and retreats focused on stress and burnout in Menorca (Spain), Dordogne (France), Dar es Salaam, Mafia Island (Tanzania) and in Thailand.

Leila is certified in classical yoga, ayurveda and nature cure. Her teaching is focused on stress management and emotional wellbeing, in addition to that she teaches capoeira and creative movement.

Prior to creating Orenda, Leila worked in various countries i.e. Libya, Tunisia, Sweden, Denmark and Tanzania in the private sector and international cooperation, where she covered political issues, human rights, and responsible business and occasionally continues to freelance.

Stephanie Hecquet Lepoutre

After 18 years of humanitarian work in 3 continents (Africa, Asia and South America) for UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), Stephanie decided to dedicate her time to her passion, Yoga and to share her knowledge and experience about work life balance and healthy living.

Founder of Anandena - the Yoga of all experience, she has 18 years of Yoga practice and 8 years of experience teaching in Africa and Asia. Stephanie is certified in Hatha yoga, Vinyasa, Kids and Family Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ayurveda and Nature Cure, and is currently finalising her TTC on Yoga Nidra.

She is currently based in Vientiane, Laos where she runs her own yoga classes and events.
